We were greeted pretty promptly when we arrived for my birthday dinner, just my husband, myself and our son. We were given a booth on the Lindbergh side which was otherwise empty at the time, but a couple other tables were soon filled. The decor in the main area seemed very Gulf coast/Margaritaville-esque which works! The booth area we were in had had some folks go wild with a Sharpie, totally filled with drawings and writing, including requests for VenMo gifts, which was a bit weird. Our waitress was sweet, friendly and swift and brought us complimentary seafood bread which was tasty! I ordered a half pound of king crab legs and a half pound boiled shrimp. I chose the "traditional" boil and thought it was a little bland, but the crab was sweet and delicious with just some drawn butter and the cocktail sauce was perfectly horseradish-y for the shrimp. My husband had Cajun seasoned boil with shrimp, crawfish and sausage. It was huge and he really enjoyed it. Our picky son had chicken nuggets that looked crispy and he actually did eat them, so fair enough. The bathrooms were clean, too. Oh, and you should definitely make use of the bib and gloves provided with your seafood boil! Only thing that would have been helpful would be some wet wipes, but hubby was able to clean up enough with napkins to visit the men's room for a full handwashing before we hit the road.

This is a good seafood restaurant. I receive excellent service, and my seafood boil was tasty. My only issue was the appetizers, I ordered a crab cake and clam strips. The crabcake appetizer had a lot of filler and not much crab meat. The clams were okay.

We chose Storming Crab for birthday dinner for my now 13 year old.. went with a group of 8. We were immediately seated with bread and plates, silverware; drink orders taken. Some people in the group weren't familiar and had our amazingly patient sever there to explain. She was great (sorry I didn't catch your name lady!). I ordered the St Louis special to split with my 2 teens with plenty left to take home. The only flaw in the meal was that the lobster tails and the corn were slightly over cooked-but the flavors were all fantastic. We ordered the hot garlic butter old bay spiced pot, and it had a nice kick. What we brought home I served over linguine for lunch the next day. Great spot!

I love seafood and always wanted to try this place. We have some family members that come here all the time and we decided to come along with them. The decor inside is really nice and fitting. The host was friendly and prompt upon our arrival. Our server was really nice as well. The flavor in the crab cakes were good, but I wasn't expecting them to be fried as hard as they were. My husband didn't care for this pasta. I didn't like the taste of the chicken, but the rest of the pasta was good. The cheese bread was delicious along with their hush puppies. My son enjoyed the fried shrimp and their cajun fries. I tried their lemon pepper fries, and those were good as well. My other son enjoyed his snow crabs. He was a little upset that they messed up his spice. He ordered medium, but they gave him mild. He still enjoyed it. We had a few people order the Big Bend combo (comes with shrimp, lobster, crab), and they said the shrimp was a bit overcooked, but everything still taste really good. Mussels taste good as well. Oh, don't order the oyster shot. A couple of people in our party wanted to try something new. It was not good at all, lol. I was deciding between a 3 and 4 rating, but overall, it deserves a 4 because of the flavor. They have the seasoning and spices down. They have a large menu, and gumbo will be my next food item to try if we return.

What a fun atmosphere! I loved feeling as though I was on a 90s cartoon fishing boat! My husband and I tried this out because he was hoping for king crab legs. We ended up creating our own boil with king crab legs and snow crab leg. You choose your own seasoning, we picked the crab house Cajun, as well as the spice level. The Cajun seasoning was absolutely fabulous. It was the perfect t about of spice and the flavor was out of this world! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful with understanding the menu and giving suggestions. The whole place honestly was helpful and inviting! It was well worth the drive-check it out!

I was out driving trying to decide what I wanted for dinner. After 30 minutes, I came across Storming Crab in Kirkwood, MO. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant and the surrounding areas were clean. I ordered the Kirkwood Special with the hottest of hot seasonings and I must say it was delicious. The Heat was on point. I will be going back.

I have dined here thrice in the past year - once as part of a large dining group. This is a great spot for groups of all sizes! I love the roomy booths, whimsical decor (shout out to doodling customers ) AND the food! The Cajun fried rice is easily one of the best sides of the menu - I never imagined soy sauce and a roux would play well nicely but OMG! I have had it every single time. The crab cakes are not bad, but the real star of the appetizer show are the calamari skewers. They are NOT on the menu, but are served along with your crab cake order. Wow - they remind me of the texture of takoyaki - just enough calamari/octopus and batter without tasting heavily breaded. The fried okra is excellent as well. In fact, your first time here, order the appetizer sampler (I forget the actual name) and try a bunch in one go. They have a solid range of seafood, considering this is the Midwest, but they are very thoughtfully prepared. For those who haven't seen it made, imagine huge steam cans for the seafood baggies - that's how they are made in most places. Everything was thoughtfully seasoned, and served at the right temperature. All three visits have had different waiters, amazing service every time. I would definitely come here again and again! P.S: If you're a big drinker, they have a robust cocktail menu too. Happy dining!

Went tonight to celebrate my son's birthday. He and I shared the snow crab, shrimp, and sausage boil with the old bay and garlic seasoning. My wife had the the snow crab with garlic butter seasoning. My sister had the fried cod basket.WOW was it awesome our food was perfect. I like my food on the spicy side and they delivered. Our server Alyssa was so good. I was a little skeptical when she wrote nothing down but she didn't miss any thing. I had a blue moon beer my wife had a purple Jesus Long Island tea. Her next drink was a relaxed jack both were excellent. Alyssa also started us out with the seafood bread appetizer and finished our dinner with a complimentary birthday dessert. The restaurant's ocean themed decor was nice. The food and the service was top notch. Thanks for the wonderful night out.

The food is extremely good! Seriously, the best! I was really impressed with the taste of everything! Hands down, the most impressive dish was the seafood bread! Dangerously delicious. Even my server Jordan stated the seafood bread is his favourite item on the menu! Speaking of Jordan, his service was amazing! He took the time to explain the menu and options! He was super friendly, polite, and prompt. My order came out popping hot! I've been to other seafood places like the Storming Crab in other states, but none compare! Did I mention you must try the seafood bread?!!! Lol! I arrived at this location straight after work midweek, so there was no wait! I will definitely be back for more!
